"Alfredo" is 87yrs. old. He's our grandmother's first grandchild.

Young, strong, good looking with a vivid memory. Here he's visiting

the restored Museo en Patillas. Though he lives in the states, the

essence of his heart and soul remain rooted home, Mala Pascua.

The Mighty Sea, that mystical body of water that entice us all.
Surrounding our islands like a jealous lover. The hold is deep,

a non- relenting grip, on the crowns of earth spout from It's depth.

Is it the salty perfume the wind gathers to flirts with the Sea?

Or does the Sea lure in the wind with It's sensual scent for a exotic amatory dance.

While the shores of It's domain wait patiently,

for It's mesmerizing stokes of spontaneous swells.

El Mar! The magical Stirring Sea.

Even the Big Blue Sky pay homage to It.

Look! See, their lingering horizontal embrace.

The affect on us, hypnotizing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART!

Para El Pozo!

Just before you get to the big rocks there's a natural pool, deep enough to dive in from
the reef. You still need water shoes to tackle the rocks on the shore, but once you are in
it's pure sand, the water, cool, smooth and inviting.

Their respond to their stay on our homestead was flattering to the surrounding
and their titi, ofcouse. ;-)
